So, my husband had to take a business trip to New Orleans for a work conference recently and he invited the girls and I to tag along so that we could we could check out the Big Easy as a family. After his conference was over, we spent the next couple of days sightseeing ( and enjoying some delicious beignets, of course ).

My family and I went to a home improvement store not too long ago to pick up a few things that we needed for our house and as we were walking through the store, I noticed my 5 year old daughter intently looking for something. Her eyes bounced around, looking at every shelf we passed by as if she was searching for a rare treasure.

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've written a blog! (Sorry about that.
