Your Daily Disconnect

So, my husband had to take a business trip to New Orleans for a work conference recently and he invited the girls and I to tag along so that we could we could check out the Big Easy as a family. After his conference was over, we spent the next couple of days sightseeing ( and enjoying some delicious beignets, of course ).

You see this coffee mug? This is my favorite coffee mug. 

My family and I went to a home improvement store not too long ago to pick up a few things that we needed for our house and as we were walking through the store, I noticed my 5 year old daughter intently looking for something. Her eyes bounced around, looking at every shelf we passed by as if she was searching for a rare treasure.

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've written a blog! (Sorry about that. Life has a way of interrupting our routines and throwing a kink in our plans, doesn't it?)  Well, life has been interesting for me and my family over the last few months, so I just wanted to take some time to post a little update and share about the goodness and faithfulness of our God!

A couple of months ago, my 5 year old daughter and I were snuggled up on the couch together, watching the Disney movie "Wall-E", while my oldest daughter was away at school for the day.
